I just started an online giftware business. I am the only owner and I have these questions:
1- Should I apply for an EIN first?
2- I am a Sole Proprietorship, so Should I get a DBA before the EIN?

    If you establish your business as a sole proprietorship then you shouldn’t need an EIN number. Simple by registering your business name, DBA, then you are already in business.
