What is a better choice for starting a craft business online?

Would something like etsy.com or a site like that be a good choice or something like yahoo small business? I’d like to be able to start selling my things but I’m not sure where would be the best place to start. Any suggestions or advice?

    I like the thought of etsy or an ebay store.
    You could also put your stuff on your own website like freewebs or synthasites where I have mine.
    I would love to see what you make. I can critique and encourage better if I knew what you had made. I have a link to email me on my Profile.
    Freewebs is cool because they have a page for an order form if you sign up for the free basic small business site.
    I happen to like Synthasites.

    Check out also as another marketplace. This site has great features for sellers like yourself. In fact, they will be introducing soon custom store,. So start from their site, you can’t lose no fee to open account, or store, and no listing fee right now. Just simple 3% for final sales fee.
