How would one go about starting a online-reptile business, besides just having a website?

Daniel M asked:

I’m in the Southeast Region, if that may have any effect, and also does anyone know of any good prices on GTPs or ETBs?

I would say you would want to have been breeding/taking care of reps for a few years before you even attempt to own a business. And probably need to have a large butload already owned.

You have to set up your business with the state you live in, whether you are a sole proprietor, limited liability corporation, partnership, etc. You then to get your TIN (taxpayer ID Number) and get the appropriate permits and licenses to sell live animals. You may also need to work with the USDA regarding your housing/breeding of reptiles.

After you have all the paperwork in order you need to have a good supply of healthy animals, market them accordingly and use good business ethics else you will not retain customers.
